Maschine Wars: Genasys

So, I finally broke down and decided to do what all my inspiring producers did before me, release a stand alone instrumental album.  I am putting the finishing touches on it now and will be dropping it before we drop the next Hawks album.

As of right now, it is looking like about 20 beats around 65 minutes with inserted skits and  surprise switch up beats.  I wanna say Peace to all the creators before me that made me remember that I started making music not to make Rap albums but just because I love all kinds of music.  Artists like DJ Shadow, Tricky, Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor), J Dilla, The RZA, Dan the Automator, DJ Krush, DJ Premier, Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, Funkadelic, Prince and countless others.

I am not saying that I will not be producing for Hip Hop artists anymore, but my focus is on other genres, and the disillusionment of said genres.  Hip Hop is me and will always be a part of me, but I feel the current state of the culture is stagnant, and even with The Band of the Hawk and myself trying to bring that feeling back, I feel that the audience isn't there.  While the people are lost and searching for groups like us, I need to step to the right and do some other experimental music that I have been wanting to do for years, but never took the time to focus on due to my bond with Hip Hop.

I hope that you like what I deliver these next few joints, because I am about to go in.
